Maintenance of Certification (MOC) readings

Board certification is the highest level of accreditation a medical professional can attain in their specialty. Board-certified practitioners are committed to lifelong learning about the advances and changes within their chosen specialties. Allina Health Library provides convenient electronic access to some of the most widely used reading lists our providers need to successfully maintain their certification.

  • American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG): Each year in January, May and August, the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) releases a reading list of relevant publications to help obstetricians and gynecologists provide their patients with the highest standard of care.
  • The ABPN (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology): Maintenance of Certification program is an initiative of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) aimed at insuring that physician specialists offer quality patient care through an ongoing process of self-improvement.  More information on the ABPN program can be found at https://www.abpn.com/about/

The full text articles in each list are available to Allina-affiliated providers upon request. Email library@allina.com to inquire.
