Remote and Mobile Access
You will have full access to online journals, databases or resources if you are
- Logged into Citrix on a non-Allina device
- Using an Allina laptop or computer
If using a personal device, here are some specific options:
UpToDate - Create a username and password
- From an Allina Health PC, go to UpToDate through the Library Services AKN page.
- Click the orange register button in the top corner.
- Download the app from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and login with your newly created username and password.
- Re-authentication for credentials from an Allina Health PC is required every 3 months.
ClinicalKey for Nursing - create a username and password
- From an Allina Health PC, go to ClinicalKey for Nursing through the Library Services AKN page.
- Click Register in the top right corner.
- Use your Allina Health email to get your account register.
- Download the app from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and login with your newly created username and password.
Some resources have generic usernames and passwords and/or mobile apps. These include:
- Micromedex
- ClinicalSkills
- Natural Medicines
- and some eBooks
