The National Library of Medicine features an exhibition of America's Women Physicians as part of it's Rise, Serve, Lead collection

Dr. JudyAnn Bigby is a black internal medicine physician devoted to the health care needs of underserved populations, focusing especially women's health.  She served as director of the Harvard Medical School Center of Excellence in Women's Health.  She is also nationally recognized for her pioneering work educating physicians on the provision of care to people with histories of substance abuse.  See her latest video on Changing the Face of Medicine (3:08) on YouTube.
